关于艾米威尔
自 2004 年以来，作为 Round Rock ISD 志愿者积极参与，Amy Weir 在三所 Round Rock ISD 学校的 PTA 组织中担任过多个领导职务：Pond Springs 小学、Deerpark 中学和 McNeil 高中。她曾在 Deerpark 和 McNeil 担任 PTA 总裁。 Weir 是 2013 年 Round Rock ISD 领导力毕业生，并曾担任 Round Rock ISD PTA 委员会的委员会主席。她曾于 2014 年、2017 年和 2018 年在三个圆石 ISD 公民债券委员会任职。
威尔之前还曾担任麦克尼尔高中摔跤助推器俱乐部的委员会主席，并在德克萨斯州中部的女童子军和美国首都地区委员会的童子军中担任过许多地方领导职务。
她于 1991 年获得德克萨斯大学奥斯汀分校的新闻学学士学位，并于 2002 年获得波士顿学院法学院的法学博士学位。Weir 和她的丈夫已经结婚 27 年，是五个孩子的骄傲父母，年龄从 14 岁不等到 25 岁。他们的四个大孩子是麦克尼尔高中的毕业生，他们最小的孩子是麦克尼尔高中的新生。
